Spectacular vantage points include Drake's seat, where Sir Francis Drake himself would sit to observe his fleet, and Paradise Point where you can take a state-of-the-art tramway 700 feet to look out over Charlotte Amalie Harbor and beyond. Some people say the best shopping in the Caribbean can be found on St. Thomas. Main Street is full of shops and boutiques that in years past were pirate warehouses storing piles of loot.
